Speaker Bio:
Leanne Haupt, MA, CAADC has been working with Pyramid Healthcare for the past 12 years. She started with the agency as a counselor, became a clinical supervisor for six years, and then moved on to become the Executive Director, Erie OP. She is a certified Advanced Drug and Alcohol Counselor and has a Master's Degree in Community Counseling from Edinboro University of PA.

Raising awareness and promoting Student Assistance Programs (SAP) is crucial for ensuring that students receive the support they need to thrive academically, emotionally, and socially. This workshop is designed to help school administrators, teachers, counselors, and support staff understand the importance of SAP and develop effective strategies to promote these programs within their schools.
Participants will explore the key components of successful SAP promotion, including communication strategies, stakeholder engagement, and creating a supportive school environment. attendees will learn best practices for raising awareness about SAP and encouraging participation from the entire school community.
Speaker Bio:
Melissa Groden, is a Human Service Professional with 28 years of experience in the field. She engages in a person-centered approach to support, educate and empower those in need. Melissa has worked at The Council of Southeast Pennsylvania, Inc. for sixteen years, overseeing the Prevention, School Services, and Training programs. She has also been an adjunct professor at Chestnut Hill College for sixteen years, instructing and writing curricula in both classroom and hybrid format for the School of Continuing and Professional Studies. Melissa is a Human Services – Board Certified Practitioner, Certified Family Recovery Specialist, a Certified Trainer in Pennsylvania Student Assistance Program and Youth Mental Health First Aid. She holds a Master’s Degree in Administration of Human Services from Chestnut Hill College with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, minor Criminal Justice, from Temple University.
