ANNUAL PASAP CONFERENCEEach year PASAP holds a conference where helping professionals come to learn and develop new program initiatives and strategies so that they will become more effective in providing support for those youth experiencing barriers to their learning and school or life success. Some of these barriers could include concerns related to substance use/abuse, depression, anxiety, thoughts of suicide, homelessness, grief and loss, bullying, and other at-risk issues. The 2025 Annual PASAP Conference will be held LIVE & IN PERSON @ The Penn Stater Hotel & Conference Center in State College, PA. The Board of Directors is currently working hard to plan a fresh conference that is new, improved, and better than ever. We are excited beyond words to gather once again with our membership, sponsors, and exhibitors to network, learn from each other, and share our passion about Student Assistance. | REGISTRATION INFORMATION Meals included with a full conference registration are Sunday dinner, Monday breakfast and lunch as well as Tuesday breakfast. Attendees must have their conference ID badge with them for all events including sessions and meals. QR codes will be scanned at the door. All registrations are submitted online. Registration will remain open throughout the conference. Payment will be accepted by check, credit card, or purchase order up until arrival at the conference. Hotel Reservation infoRMATIONHotel room cost and reservation is not included in PASAP Conference registration. The Penn Stater offers a discounted standard room price of $117.00 + tax/night each night when attendees use our promo code. This is rate is offered on a first come first serve basis. Important InformationCONFERENCE EVALUATIONS Session and full conference evaluations are collected electronically through the conference website. Attendees must complete evaluations in order to receive Act 48 or PCB continuing education credits for LSW, LCSW, LPC or LMFT. Attendees can access evaluations through the conference website or the conference app. EXHIBIT HALL We encourage attendees to visit our exhibit hall throughout the conference. Tables will be located in the conference lobby, Dean's Hall area and the First Floor Break area. PASAP strives to provide the latest resources regarding SAP, Mental Health, and Drug and Alcohol services. Exhibitor representatives look forward to sharing their products and services and are available to network and answer questions. CONFERENCE SERVICES PASAP will have staff stationed at the courtesy desk to assist with all conference attendee needs. Staff will be available during conference hours; the courtesy desk can be found in the main registration area. DOOR PRIZES Throughout the conference there will be many opportunities to win prizes that have been donated by our sponsors and generous businesses throughout the commonwealth. Participants are entered to win by registering for conference, visiting and entering raffles with our exhibitors, and attending the Ice Cream Social. Attendees must be present at drawing times in order to win. PHOTOS/PUBLICITY PASAP photographers will be taking conference shots for our newsletter and web page. PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT CREDITS Attendees can earn continuing education credits at the Annual Conference.PASAP is an approved ACT 48 and PA Certification Board provider. In order for attendees to receive credit for the keynote and breakout sessions, they must:
Confirmation of attendance is sent to the PA Department of Education at the conclusion of the conference. PASAP will also provide an attendance certificate via email after the close of conference. ACT 48 Attendees interested in ACT 48 credits must indicate this on their conference registration. PPID numbers are also required. PA CERTIFICATION BOARD (PCB) PCB credit hours satisfy requirements for LSW, LCSW, LPC and LMFT licensure. In order for attendees to receive PCB credits for the keynote and breakout sessions, they must:
Confirmation of attendance is sent to the University of Pittsburgh at the conclusion of the conference. Certificates are then mailed directly to participants within a few weeks. PASAP will also provide an attendance certificate via email after the close of conference. CANCELLATION POLICY Cancellations must be received in writing, postmarked 4 weeks prior to the conference. Cancellations received prior to the cutoff date will receive a refund less a $50.00 service charge. Cancellations after the cutoff date, failure to attend or failure to notify the PASAP office in writing will result in forfeiture of the entire registration fee. Substitutes are always welcome. No refunds will be granted due to inclement weather. All costs incurred due to bounced checks or returned payments are the responsibility of the registrant. CANCELLATION DUE TO UNFORSEEN EVENTS If the PASAP Conference cannot be conducted due to uncontrollable circumstances such as war, government regulation, disaster, strikes, civil disorder, curtailment of transportation facilities or other emergencies making it inadvisable, illegal, or impossible to provide the facilities or to hold the event, each prepaid registrant will receive any gifts provided to conference attendees. Fixed conference expenses will be paid from the registration funds. Any remaining funds will be refunded to registrants. PASAP is not responsible for any other costs incurred by registrants in connection with the conference. |
