PASAP Webinar: "How can SAP Teams help with all this vaping?" with Melissa Groden
Webinar Description: This webinar will provide current education on vaping in schools and discuss ways SAP teams can support students who would like a vape-free school, those who would like to stop vaping and how team members can provide education/resources to their educational community.
Speaker Bio:
Melissa Groden, MS, HS-BCP Director of Prevention, Training & Education Melissa Groden, is a Human Service Professional with 25 years of experience in the field. She engages in a person-centered approach to support, educate and empower those in need.
Melissa has worked at The Council of Southeast Pennsylvania, Inc. for twelve years, overseeing the Prevention, School Services, and Training programs. She has also been an adjunct professor at Chestnut Hill College for twelve years, instructing and writing curricula in both classroom and hybrid format for the School of Continuing and Professional Studies.
Melissa is a Board Certified – Human Services Professional and a Certified Trainer in Pennsylvania Student Assistance Program and Youth Mental Health First Aid. She holds a Master’s Degree in Administration of Human Services from Chestnut Hill College with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, minor Criminal Justice, from Temple University.
