The 2018 Safe Schools Conference will FOCUS ON CREATING A POSITIVE SCHOOL CULTURE that supports academic success and student engagement. The conference will include state and national experts presenting the LATEST RESEARCH in school safety and youth violence prevention, EFFECTIVE PROGRAM MODELS, PROMISING PRACTICES, NETWORKING OPPORTUNITIES and more. This 20th anniversary event will feature distinguished speakers, informative workshops and specialized exhibitors.

A SPECIAL CONFERENCE TRACK for school security personnel from the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF SCHOOL RESOURCE OFFICERS (NASRO) will provide a two-day course Adolescent Mental Health Training for SRO. School resource officers, school police officers, law enforcement and school safety leaders are qualified to attend.
